On the day I visited, for the World Triathlon Games,
A part of Yamashita Park is closed,　I could not see the park.
So, I will show you the exhibition venue of Japan Avenue
I decided to walk and see.
The characteristics of the exhibited booth were, it was fun.
I finished watching one side of the street and I took a rest on the way.



This is always the Gutsu Icho Namiki Street shop.
I got bread and iced coffee.
The bread here is big and the size is good.
Also, there are many kinds of coffee, my favorite,
Flavored coffee or Italian roast
Authentic ice coffee, quantity and taste, 
cheapness is also the best.

I also crossed the street and looked around the other side.
Especially, roses of various kinds were impressed.
Finally, I went round the port of Yokohama and arrived home.
On the way back, pass the street brick,
Near the Nisshin Ramen Museum,
Go through the underground tunnel,
Enjoying the seaside drive,
I returned to my house via Higashi Kanagawa.
Weekday afternoon, relatively humid,
It was a comfortable drive.
Since Flower Expo is held until June,
In the near future, the Yamashita Park venue,
I want to take a closer look.

うまい日本酒の話１：越乃寒梅

私は、横浜で育ち、６５年生活しています。 横浜は、昔は、日本の海の玄関である横浜港から、 世界中の情報や、商品が入ってきました。 そう言う理由で、私も、１５歳の頃から、コーヒ－、紅茶、ケーキ、 中華料理、 イタリア料理、フランス料理、スペイン料理、スイス料理、 インドカレーなど、 海外製品を好んでおりました。 そう言う理由で、２０歳を超えて、お酒は、洋酒が好きで、スコッチ、 バーボン、 ラム、ジン、ウオッカ、ブランデー、シェリー酒、 ワインを飲みました、 今でも、ラム酒、アルマニャック、シェリー、ワインは、 常に用意しています。 最初は、日本酒は、甘さと、刺激のなさで、あまり好き ではありませんでした。 ところが、新潟への転勤で、地元のお酒を飲む機会が増えて、 いままで飲んだ 日本酒とは、全く違う、飲みやすい日本酒にであい、 飲むようになっていきました。 ２年後、今度は、長野県に転勤になり、新潟の酒とは、 全く違う辛口のコクのある 日本酒に出あう事になったのです。 糖分が多ければ甘く感じ、糖分が少なければ辛く感じます。 日本酒度は糖分の多い物がマイナスに、逆に糖分の少ない物が プラスとなります。 つまり、マイナスの度合いが高いほど甘口となり、 プラスの度合いが高いほど辛口という事になります。 日本酒度表：Japanese sake schedule ＋６．０以上 　　　　　　大辛口（ VeryDry) ＋３．５～　＋５．９ 　　　   辛口（ Dry) ＋１．５～    ＋３．４     やや辛口（ SlightlyDry) －１．４～    ＋１．４         普通（Ordinary) －１．５～    －３．４     やや甘口（ SlightlySweet) －３．５～    －５．９　　　   　   甘口（Sweet) －６．０ ...

５話：生糸の活況相場の終わり

  　 その年 、なぜ か 、 生糸相場も、もう終わりかなと感じて亀屋を退職し退職金も千円いただき亀屋を後にした。その時、１８歳で気立ての良くて綺麗な同じ八王子出身の貧農の娘、内田衣子と仲良くなって亀屋を一緒に退職した。   　 退職当時、安田亀吉は約１万円 「現在の価値で、 ５５００万円 」 の大金持ちになっていて 、 橫浜の貸家を借りて２人で暮らすようになり商売を始め、タバコを 商売を始めて、 金物か ら、 書物、衣類、多くの製品を商う様になった。   　 その他に、生糸の商売をしている時に、知り合ったフランクリン 商事 のジェームズ加藤という日系人と親しくなり、ガム、チョコレート、ウイスキー、ブランデー、ワインの他、舶来のお菓子、雑貨も取り扱うようにな り 商売も繁盛した。   　 そうして３年後、安田亀吉５０歳、衣子２１歳で男の子を授かり１８９４年５月１５日、安田勝一が生まれた。安田 商事 での儲けは借家、店の賃料と不自由なく食べられる程度で資産を増やすほどでもなかった。   　 それから 、 約２年後の１８９６年３月１９日 、 次男、安田勝二が生まれ 、 ４人家族になった。そして明治３２ 「 １８９９ 」 年、後事を富太郎に託して７２歳で世を去った。   　 亀屋 、 原 商事 の実質的二代目となった富太郎は、生糸売込業のほか、明治３３ 「 １９００ 」 年には絹物輸出業を兼営して、原 商事 を「原合名会社」に改組する。翌 、明治 ３４ 「 １９０１年 」 には 、 生糸輸出業を始める。   　 そして明治３５ 「 １９０２年 」 ９月には三井家が経営していた、富岡製糸場・名古屋製糸場・大島製糸場「栃木」・三重製糸場を引き継いだ。富太郎が製糸家として生きた２０世紀前半は、日本製糸業にとって、波乱に満ちた時代であった。   　 アメリカ向け輸出の比重を高めつつ成長をとげた日本製糸業は、人造絹糸レーヨンの実用化にともない、もっとも低廉な原料糸供給先である洋服の裏地や織物の縦糸からしめだされる。こ れ を背景に１９００～１０年代には 、 在来の手工業によって生み出される座繰糸が輸出品として適合しなくな った。   　そのため、 日本の生糸相場の活況も完全に終わりを告げた。１９...
