自然災害と人間の運命

最近、日本の九州の福岡県で大雨で、川が氾濫したり、

山崩れで、１０人以上が、死亡した。

また、住む家をなくした人も、かなりの数、いるようである。

被害に遭った人達は、何も悪いことをしたわけでもなく、

ただ、偶然に、災害に遭って、死んだり、家族、友人、

仲間を失った訳である。

私が、一番最初に、考えることは、被害に遭った人達への

哀悼のである。次に考えるのは、彼らへの支援を考えます。

若者が何人も、ボランティアとして、被災地には行っているようで

頼もしく、また、素晴らしい行動であり、賞賛されるべきだと思う。

中高年で、体力的にも、ボランティアできない人間には、

何ができるだろうか？

一番大切なのは、募金だと思う。もちろん、裕福な中高年は、

その気になれば、気軽に募金を送ることができるが、そういう恵まれた

方々は、決して多くない。

私もその一人である。しかし、被害に遭われた方々の身になって、

考えてみれば、食料も、水も、宿泊するところも、ないのである。

だから、自分の何かを、削っても、募金すべきだと考える。

私の場合は、月に２回、外食を楽しんでいるが、その分を、

とりあえず、削って、￥３０００を寄付しました。

平成29年7月九州北部大雨災害緊急支援募金（Yahoo!基金）

寄付人数：４２６１０人、総額、２３２７万円、７／９、６時現在

もし、私と同じ考えの人が、１０００人、集まれば、３百万円を

寄付できることになる。これで、数千人の１日の食べ物が、

確保できるのである。

何が言いたいかと言うと、富裕層の人は、もちろん、もっと多額の

寄付を出そうと思えば、出せると思う。
しかし、少ない年金で、将来に不安をかかえている中高年でも、

小さな、善意で、少額でも、寄付をする事が重要である。

そう言う考えに、共感してくれる人が、何百人、何千人、何万人と

集まれば、本当に大きな事ができるのである。

日本でも、世界と同じように、貧富の差が激しくなっているが、

３泊４人９５万円の豪華列車の旅とか、やれ、クルーズ世界一周の
旅で１０００万円だったとか、いう富裕層の話題も聞くようになった。

そう言う人達の中からも、新しく募金を始めてくれる人が出てくれば、

被災した人達に対して、大きなすくの手となるのは間違いない。

本当は、私も、募金よりも、預金、投資信託など、利子を生む

預金の方がしたいという気持ちもあります。
しかし利子、配当が、なくたって、自分の心の中の「幸せ預金」

を積み立てていけば、利子がつかなくっても、たまらなくたっても、

被災者の笑顔という、大きな利子や、配当がついてくるのである。

この、「幸せ預金」という、被災者募金を、１人でも、多くの人に

してもらいたいと、切に思うのである。

みなさん、少額でも良いから、北九州の暴風雨被害者救援の募金に
